Syria continues to crackdown on protesters
In the Middle Eastern country of Syria, the government continues to crackdown on pro-democracy protesters.
U.S. State Secretary Hillary Clinton is calling for more international sanctions against Syria.
So far, more than 1,700 people have died in Syria since anti-government protests began in March. Syria's president, Bashar al-Assad, has ruled the country for more than 41 years.
